Integrated nutrition, diet modification, appropriate supplementation, and biomedical interventions are the most powerful tools in the process of treatment Autism Spectrum Disorders and Other Chronic Illnesses.

By using comprehensive biomedical lab testing, we are able to develop individualized treatment plans that address the root causes of the problem based on the unique biochemistry of each client.

A key element of this approach is the optimization of a digestive function. Research shows that impairments in this critical nutritional pathway can have a far-reaching impact on our brain, immune system, detoxification of the body, and other seemingly unrelated systems. We are treating underlying causes instead of a Band-Aid approach to temporarily manage symptoms to help our patients to rediscover their health and healing potential.

MAPS(DAN) Practitioner

Autism clinician

“As a mom of a child with special needs, I know exactly what my clients are going through every single day.”

Having a child with Autism has had a significant influence on my career. Over the years I have accrued the tremendous amount of knowledge what biomedical and nutritional intervention can do, while recovering my own children. Therefore, the next logical step was to go back to school and get a degree in nutrition to be able to help other parents recover their children.

I am Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, and hold a Master Degree in Nutrition from City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College.

One of my two children was diagnosed with Autism when he was five years old. Currently, he is a high functioning teenager. My second child was diagnosed with autism when he was just 12 months old. He lost his diagnosis three years later! I specialize in functional medicine (identifying and treating the root causes and not placing a temporarily Band-Aids to help with the symptoms) and integrative nutrition (discipline that focuses on how diet and supplementation may contribute to the process of healing mind and the body) to create a personalized treatment plan for every patient. My primary focus is children with special needs and adults with unresolved, by traditional medicine, chronic illnesses. It is my strong belief that each individual possesses a unique puzzle, consisting of four major components:

  • Gastrointestinal system
  • Immune system
  • Energy metabolism and mitochondria
  • Neurological system

And there are also four most common factors that affect these systems and cause chronic diseases:

  • Toxins
  • Stress
  • Pathogens
  • Diet

Together we can unlock your health puzzle and put the missing pieces back together!

  • I cannot say enough about Elena and the tremendous support she has given to our family. Since our first visit, Elena has been thorough, informative, kind and passionate. She has immense knowledge about what she does, and is excellent at explaining the different methods she uses to help each individual. She is a great listener that is always available to answer any questions or concerns you might have, and always follows-up to make sure her protocol is working. My son has benefited so much from Elena’s expertise – his language has exploded, his loves playing with his friends and is much more social and happy. I highly recommend Elena to any parent that has concerns about their child’s development!

  • I must say that Ms. Elena Kochin has a great knowledge in helping children with autism. She presented to us all possible options, walked us through the recovery process step by step tirelessly, guiding us what to do in order to have the best results. Thank to her, our child is much better now with his digestion, behavior, eye contact and we see great progress every day more and more! She became like part of our family always ready and willing to help. I strongly recommend her to anyone, who has a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder as she possesses an enormous knowledge to help in the recovery process.
